LADIES FASHION LEAD NIGHTWEAR DESIGNER

A fantastic opportunity for a ladies fashion lead nightwear designer to join our clothing import business. We supply nightwear and leisurewear to high street retailer and supermarkets including Tesco, Next, Dunnes, john Lewis you will be an important addition to the design team working with in a fast pace environment, working on a number of projects at any one time, liaising with different teams.

Currently producing ladies' nightwear but looking to branch out into men's and kids wear in the future. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working in a design lead business with similar high street retail clients. This is a great opportunity to join a well establish growing company.

Your Responsibilities include but not limited to

Designing ladies Leisurewear and nightwear Clients: Next, Tesco, George, Dunnes John Lewis, TK Maxx. Creating and updating initial CAD's and basic tech packs Complete competitor research and analysis Create seasonal artwork and graphics to scale for placement prints and all over prints Operating within the given design calendar critical path Staying up to date with industry trends, presenting to the director
Skills, qualifications and experience required

Degree in Fashion Design/Clothing Design and technology - have a creative and up to date portfolio Must be an enthusiastic, proactive and creative. Relevant industry experience is a must. 3 years in fashion lead nightwear Must be fully computer literate and have a good working knowledge of Illustrator. CLO 3d experience an advantage Strong communication and internal liaison skills at all levels
This is a hands-on role working within a small design and development team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: negotiable dependant on experience

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
