Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours Maintain stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is an advantage Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks during busy periods Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members alike A genuine interest in culinary arts or previous kitchen experience will be beneficial
