Overview

We are currently seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant to support both our breakfast service and bar operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, with a strong focus on food safety and customer satisfaction. .

Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and responding to guest inquiries. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and maintain efficient workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including dining spaces, kitchens, and storage areas. Support bartending activities by preparing drinks as per standard recipes when required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety practices. Assist in catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing away food and beverages as needed. Help train new staff members on best practices in hospitality and food preparation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. A friendly and approachable demeanour with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A willingness to learn new skills related to bartending, food preparation, and catering services.
