Join our vibrant team at the Palace Hotel & Spa in the heart of the Highlands. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Food and Beverage Assistant to assist with breakfast services. This role is vital in ensuring our guests start their day with an exceptional breakfast experience, contributing to our mission of outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner. Provide excellent customer service throughout the breakfast period. Prepare tables and ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-presented. Replenish buffet items promptly, maintaining food quality and presentation standards. Monitor buffet stations for cleanliness, freshness, and guest satisfaction. Clear tables efficiently and reset for the next guests. Assist with tea coffee and toast service. Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times. Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations. Support with closing duties -- cleaning, restocking, and preparation for the next service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel service environment preferred. Basic knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and professional appearance. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
