WHAT IS THE JOB ROLE...



The Food & Beverage Events Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence within our dining establishments. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead a team, enhance guest experiences, and drive sales through effective upselling techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a focus on guest services and organisational skills. You will work continue to work on a rota basis, predominantly Thursday to Sunday daytimes and evening shifts. You will work closely with the F&B Supervisors and Management team and typical duties will include:

Ensure rooms are set up as per function sheet with appropriate signs, lighting, table layouts and music Assist with room layout designs and set ups as directed by the operations manager Running an events food team on the floor ensuring to the correct delivery of food to all guests To operate the pass during and event Assist with close downs and locking up with the night porter Cashing up duties as and when required Assisting with break allocations Ensuring cutlery is polished to an excellent quality and in a timely manner and that all crockery is stored in the right areas To assist with stocktaking Ensure all EPOS is correctly set up pre and post shift Communicate any additional meal requirements or special requests to the kitchen Monitor cleanliness in all service areas and ensure toilet checks are done during events Be ever present and available during the times of guest needs Use your initiative and forward thinking to make your and colleagues lives easier with regards to planning and storage.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



In the event of you working a day shift you are to ensure a detailed handover to the events team Setting up and breaking down of events facilities Management of EPOS stock Organising part time staff rota's when required to assist Waiting on and bar work Setting out pop up bars and events Providing an exceptional service. Leading a small team of wait staff and bartenders as directed by the Ops Manager Having full knowledge of set up and close down procedures. Dealing with special requests. Ensuring that staffing level reflects the need of the business at all times. Assisting Managers in ensuring that all staff attend relevant Food Safety and Allergens training.

JOB TYPE:

Full Time - 40 hours per week - Predominantly Thursday to Sunday (part time supervisors roles are also available)

PACKAGE:

Flexible working hours, salary isdepending on experience
