The Food & Beverage Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services. This position requires a strong leader with extensive culinary experience and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation while managing a team of dedicated staff.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production to ensure quality and consistency.
Manage kitchen operations, including bars, restaurant, weddings and events alongside maintaining food safety standards.
Manager and train staff in culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and customer service.
Develop menus alongside the GM and Head Chef that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food handling processes.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences through exceptional food and beverage offerings.
Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Lead by example, fostering a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
Drive service excellence and uphold 4-star quality standards
Manage budgets, cost control, stock & GP
Plan and deliver exceptional service for events, banquets, and VIP functions
Collaborate with the Head Chef to deliver a creative and seasonal menu
Ensure full compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations
Continuously innovate to boost revenue and guest satisfaction
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Previous experience as a barista or in similar roles is advantageous.
