About Us:

Nairn Golf Club, established in 1887, is one of Scotland's most historic and picturesque golf clubs. Set against the breath-taking backdrop of the Moray Firth, our club offers a top-tier golfing experience alongside outstanding dining and hospitality services. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Staff to join our team, ensuring that our members and guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive.

Role Overview:

As a member of our Front of House team, you will be the welcoming face of Nairn Golf Club, providing excellent customer service to all who visit. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, including greeting guests, managing reservations, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring that the clubhouse operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome members and guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly first impression.

- Assist with managing reservations for dining and events, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements.

- Serve food and beverages to members and guests in the dining area, bar, and outdoor terraces, maintaining high standards of service.

- Handle guest inquiries and requests, offering assistance and information about the club's facilities and services.

- Process payments and manage the till, ensuring accurate handling of cash and card transactions.

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring that all areas are prepared to the club's standards.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the clubhouse, including the dining areas, bar, and reception.

- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service, especially during busy periods.

- Address any issues or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all members and guests.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Previous experience in a hospitality, restaurant, or customer service role is preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

- Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

- A professional appearance and commitment to maintaining high standards.

- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is beneficial, but training will be provided.
