We're looking for a Feed & Barn Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and service of exciting technologies like the Lely Juno, Discovery Collector, and Lely Calm automatic calf feeder. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to support farmers with the latest advancements in on-farm technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out site surveys and installation planning for barn equipment like the Lely Discovery Collector and Juno Flex
Be at the forefront of new product introductions
Install, commission, and maintain feed and barn systems
Use software tools to measure sheds and map installations accurately
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and software updates
Deliver first-class customer support, troubleshooting, and technical advice
Provide training to customers and colleagues
Manage service tickets via Lely's self-service support platform (LSS)
Support internal teams and MS Teams channels for service-related queries
Travel across the Lely Center area as required
What You'll Bring:
A strong interest in agricultural technology and hands-on engineering
Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking
Confidence in IT systems and data collection
A self-motivated approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A full UK driving license and willingness to travel
Willingness to undergo continuous training and development
