Chambers is now seeking a capable and experienced Fees Clerk to join its dedicated administration team. This is a vital position, working closely with the Practice Directors, Members of Chambers, and external providers to ensure the smooth operation of Chambers' billing and fee collection processes.

Person Specification



Experience in fee collection gained within a barristers' chambers. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external providers. Knowledge of LAA and CFA funding.

Key Responsibilities



To monitor and chase outstanding fees. Work closely with practice directors on aged debt recovery. Main contact for external fee recovery partners. Handle general fee-related queries. Support costs budgeting requirements. Prepare data, reports and information for internal meetings. Produce 'unbilled fees' and other reports. * Play active role in key elements of Chambers' billing requirements.
