Female and Male Cleaning operative required at St Georges Market Belfast, Friday 8am to 5pm , Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all. This role requires effective communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will interact with clients and colleagues regularly.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns. Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.

Requirements

Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. A valid driver's licence is desirable for travel between sites. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
