L&S Coffee Bar is seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages. Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, as needed. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate coffee machines and equipment safely, performing basic maintenance as required. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate record-keeping. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during busy shifts.

Experience

At least 5 years of previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding customer service is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous to ensure compliance with health regulations.
