Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support individuals in maintaining their independence and dignity by encouraging participation in daily routines. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care. Follow individual care plans meticulously to meet the specific needs of each resident. Drive to various locations for home care assignments, ensuring safe transportation for clients. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff. Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of care.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with residents and team members. Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving home visits. Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and communication within the team. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.

Pay: 14.40-15.50 per hour
