Job Description

We are seeking a Bengali - Care Assistants to support one of our service users in Tower Hamlets. The duties will include:

Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the healthcare team. Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, promoting nutritional intake. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere. Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed by healthcare professionals. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Empathy and compassion for patients, demonstrating a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work well within a team while also being capable of working independently when required. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in carrying out tasks. Basic understanding of healthcare practices and patient care principles is advantageous. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and patient needs in a dynamic environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.30-15.00 per hour
