We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing Help with meal preparation and feeding where necessary Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for all Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure high standards of care are maintained

Skills

A driving licence is REQUIRED for supporting home care duties involving transportation Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge and understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them accurately Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for clear communication Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing
