We are looking for friendly, reliable, and ambitious Care Assistants to join our team.

We can offer full-time positions working from 7.30am to 10.30pm (with breaks) and alternate weekends.

We also have part time positions working either 7.30am to 3pm or 3pm to 11.00pm including alternate weekends.

Duties will include:

Ensure the highest possible levels of care provision are maintained at all times. To undertake all duties in accordance with the policies and procedures of Right at Home at all times. Duties will include aspects of personal care to allow Clients to maintain their personal hygiene, appearance and physical comfort. Assisting in the preparation and making of meals, drinks and snacks. To provide assistance with other tasks of daily living which may include cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of their environment, shopping, laundry and bill paying. To assist Clients to take medication as identified in their care plan. To work as part of a team with colleagues To provide social support, talking and listening to the Client, helping them to maintain contact with friends and family and other contacts in potentially isolating situations. To contribute to the safe moving and handling of Clients to maximise their physical abilities and mobility. Act on own initiative and exercise good decision making skills.

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

Be available for early mornings, afternoon, or evenings and weekends (alternate) on a shift pattern Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to your own vehicle as you will be travelling to clients to care for them in their own home. Currently be living in the UK

Penwortham, Longton, Walmer Brdige, Much Hoole, Tarleton, Croston, Leyland, Bamber Bridge, Fullwood, Barton, Broughton, Ingol and surrounding areas.

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
