About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Care Assistant to join our team in Cookstown. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents in a warm and supportive environment.

As many of our residents are Tagalog-speaking, we welcome applications from candidates who can communicate fluently in Tagalog. This ensures comfort, dignity, and better engagement for our residents in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver personal care and daily living support in line with residents' individual care plans. Assist residents with meals, mobility, and medication (where appropriate). Communicate effectively in both English and Tagalog to build trust and understanding with residents. Promote independence, dignity, and well-being at all times. Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to provide a supportive environment.

About You

Previous experience in a care home or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential. Caring, patient, and empathetic nature with strong communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be female and fluent in Tagalog to meet the cultural and language needs of residents. Willingness to undergo training and development.
