We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Female Carers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance in their own homes. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with various health conditions.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
Monitor and document changes in clients' physical and emotional conditions.
Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.
Support clients with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and other cognitive impairments through behaviour management techniques.
Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for case management and ensure continuity of care.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in care, nursing homes, or assisted living environments is highly desirable.
A full driving licence
Experience in hospice care or working with individuals requiring specialised support is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.70 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
