We're looking for a Child Support Worker to join our Children's Team at Diverse Abilities.
We need you to help us to deliver exceptional, high-quality care for children living with disabilities.
Due to the current demands on the service, we require a FEMALE Child Support Worker only

You will play a pivotal part in supporting the children and young people to make memories that last a lifetime. No two day is the same and you will enjoy a range of activities in this role.
You will have the chance to spend time with the children and their families and support them in activities that wouldn't be possible without you. You will work across our 2 respite homes (Lilys Place and Lawford Lodge) and the family's homes. . If you have not already achieved your Diploma level 3 (child specific) we will support you to achieve this.
This role involves;
Follow each individual child or young person's care plan
Support where necessary with personal care
Support child/young person with eating and drinking or maintaining their nutrition needs
Support child/young person to fulfil their social and emotional need through play

What we need from you:
Care experience and/or childcare experience.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to be Flexible working over 7 days.
Working alternative weekend

Caring for a disabled young person is exhausting for care givers. Respite care is a way they can get a much-needed rest, safe in the knowledge that their child is being cared for and having fun in an environment tailored to their needs. As a child support worker, you will be part of team who provides this for our young people, giving them a sense of self confidence and empowerment.
