About the Role

We are seeking an

experienced Female ESOL Tutor

to deliver a

ESOL Employability

for non-English speaking women on the Wirral. This specialist programme is designed to support women whose first languages are

Arabic, Farsi, or Dari

, helping them to develop essential life skills, improve confidence and motivation, and move closer to employment.

You will be working with a

small cohort of 10 participants

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, face-to-face sessions (12 hours per week for 5 weeks). Provide support in

speaking and listening skills

for learners with very low-level, pre-entry ESOL. Build confidence, motivation, and self-esteem among participants. Teach

basic IT and life skills

, including: Cooking, travel, sleep hygiene, time management, healthcare, and school systems. Support understanding of

Universal Credit and external organisations

. Encourage positive attitudes to employment and integration into society. Deliver workshops on

CV building, transferable skills, and overcoming personal barriers

. Develop individual

action plans

for each participant to support progression into work.
Requirements

Female tutor (essential, due to the nature of the programme). Experience delivering

ESOL and/or Life Skills programmes

. Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity when working with Arabic, Farsi, and Dari speaking women. Ability to motivate and support learners facing barriers to work and integration. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Self-employed status, able to commit to the full programme duration (03/11/25 - 05/12/25).
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: 14.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
