About the Role
KASE Care is seeking a compassionate, proactive, and reliable
Female Complex Healthcare Assistant
to join our dedicated team supporting a female service user living in Hitchin.
Our client is a mother of three with a spinal cord injury, who uses a wheelchair and follows a highly active physiotherapy regime as part of her daily routine. Care includes post-physiotherapy support, personal care, catheter care, mobility assistance, nutrition, and medication management.
You will be working full-day shifts alongside the client and her family, supporting both her care needs and ensuring a safe, dignified, and professional level of service within her home environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality
personal care
, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
Provide
catheter care
and monitor for signs of infection or complications.
Assist with
nutrition and hydration
, including meal preparation and encouragement as required.
Administer prescribed
medications
in line with the care plan and company policy.
Support
moving and handling tasks
safely, particularly following physiotherapy sessions (hoists, slide sheets, and other equipment used).
Liaise and work closely with the wider care team to ensure smooth and coordinated delivery of care.
Maintain accurate and professional
care documentation
.
Promote the client's
independence, dignity, and family involvement
at all times.
Safely
drive and support with transport
as part of daily care requirements.
About You
Must be female
(genuine occupational requirement as per Schedule 9, Equality Act 2010).
Full UK driving licence
and access to a vehicle required.
Previous experience in
complex care, spinal injury support, or mobility assistance
is highly desirable.
Moving and handling experience
is essential.
Kind, respectful, and positive attitude.
Comfortable working within a
family home environment with children and a family dog
.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced
DBS check
(or willingness to obtain one).
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

Mandatory Induction Training
All successful candidates must attend a
2-day mandatory induction
at our Head Office in
Loughton, IG10 4BL
.
Induction runs during the
first full week of each month
.
It must be attended in full within the same week (cannot be split across months).
Training includes moving and handling, first aid, company procedures, and CQC compliance.
