We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in English, be able to drive to various locations, and have a basic understanding of IT systems to assist with care plans.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate records of patient progress and any changes in their condition.
Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
Requirements
Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between care locations.
Basic IT skills for managing care plans and documentation.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
