We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes or in their own homes, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities and implementing care plans tailored to their specific needs.
Please note:
Only Female Applicants can be considered due to the nature of the contracts we have currently. As this role involves giving care to patients in their own home you must have a driving license and have access to a vehicle.
Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals with mobility and movement around their home or care facility.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring all requirements are met.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organised environment.
Skills
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to drive is essential for transporting clients when required.
Proficiency in IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
Experience in home care or working within a care home setting is highly desirable.
Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Requirements of a Care Assistant:
Be available for early mornings, afternoon, evenings and weekends (alternate) on a shift pattern
Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to your own vehicle as you will be travelling to clients to care for them in their own home.
Currently be living in the UK

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
