Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to an 80 year old lady suffering with Parkinson's Disease and dementia In her own home.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for her by delivering personalised care tailored to her specific needs.

The carer will be required to live in the house with the client for a one week on one week off basis. During the working week all expenses will be paid.

Duties

Assist her with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication administration in accordance with prescribed schedules and protocols Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary Support her with activities of daily living, including light housekeeping and laundry Engage her in social activities and behavioural management to promote mental well-being. Offer specialised care for Parkinson's Disease and dementia. Assist with transportation needs, including driving her to appointments or outings. Monitor health status and report any changes to the family. Maintain detailed records of care provided. Follow health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when required.

Skills

Proven experience in assisted living, senior care, or home care environments. Knowledge of patient care techniques. Experience with Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. Strong organisational skills for medication administration and documentation Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with client and family. Valid driving licence for transportation duties. Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support a vulnerable individual.
This role requires a caring individual committed to providing high-quality support while maintaining professionalism and respect for client dignity. Applicants should be organised, attentive to detail, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 1,600.00 per week
