emale Live-In Carer | New Milton

2 weeks on / 2 weeks off | Long-term placement | Start ASAP



We're looking for a calm, emotionally intelligent female live-in carer to support a lovely elderly lady in Hordle who is visually impaired and uses oxygen therapy full-time, but still very much herself: witty, independent, and full of personality.



Our client thrives on gentle company, pampering, and someone who makes them feel at ease. This role is about genuine connection, not just ticking tasks.

The role includes:

Personal care, reassurance, and emotional support


Light household help and meal preparation (traditional British dinners are a favourite)


Daily walks, chats, and encouragement to stay engaged


Accurate medication logging via app (blister packs provided)


Clear communication with family and friends around routines and finances

You'll need:

Excellent English and great listening skills


Dementia-aware or cognitive-care experience


Strong emotional intelligence - patient, kind, and able to build trust


Previous live-in experience (essential)


Driving preferred but not essential


Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to apply)

The setup:

Private accommodation within the home


Two hours daily break (usually afternoon)


2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation


One-day paid shadow with the current carer before starting
