The role of the Team Coordinator (Senior Support Worker) is an important one within the community team as you are representing Coquet Trust to the people we support, their families and wider circle of support, as well as local agencies, and of course being an exceptional and forward-thinking leader to your team.
The purpose of this role is to enable the people we support to live their own lives through the application of person-centred approaches, promoting individual choice, decision-making, control and independence.

to support a
young woman
as she begins her journey out of hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to build a small, consistent team around someone who is ready to take her next steps in her life and wants the right people beside her as she does.

About the Role:
You'll work in the community, starting with shorter support sessions. Activities might include:
Going for coffee or shopping.
Attending creative workshops or horse visits
Watching horror films, or just chatting
Exploring new hobbies and safe spaces in the community, etc.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced Female Mental Health Team Coordinator to join us, on a full time basis, who:
Assists the Support Manager in day -to-day management of Support Workers and locations.
Have
mental health experience
, particularly around trauma or self-harm.
Acts as a role model at all times, providing the highest quality care and support.
is naturally warm, calm, and emotionally resilient
Uses effective communication to guide and empower your team.
Provides Active Support and Positive Behavior Support.
Can
maintain boundaries
while supporting independence
Believes in the power of listening, patience, and creativity
Is flexible, dependable, and up for trying new things.
What experience our Senior Support Workers need:
Experience providing a high standard and wide range of support.
A willingness to be flexible in your work.
Ability to communicate clearly, with a good level of literacy and numeracy skills.
Have an NVQ Level 3 in Social Care, or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
Holding a full UK Driving Licence is preferred.
