Applicants must be 21yrs old or over, have a valid driving licence and be willing to drive the client's car when required. All applicants must be able to swim
Hourly rate: 13.06
Shifts to be allocated at interview,
Shift patterns are: 08:00-14:00. 14:00-20:00 and waking nights 20:00-08:00
Hours needed are as follows:
12 hours split shifts 2 x 08:00-14:00 and or 14:00-20:00
12hrs WKN
These shifts can be flexible and will be allocated at interview stage.

Experience is preferred but not essential. On the job training will be given.

The client has a spinal cord injury and is very much focused on her recovery; are you going to be up for the challenge to support with the clients recovery?
What we require from you:
Do you have an understanding of why it is important to have a daily routine and to working towards this clients achievements?
Must be physically fit and have an interest in fitness, have an interest in supporting client in various crafting, restoration and design, either manually or via computer
Ideally you will have some experience of working and supporting people with a spinal cord injury.
Have an understanding of the importance physiotherapy.
You will be focused and driven towards supporting the client's recovery and independence.

This role includes duties such as:
Personal care (showering/personal hygiene),
Dressing/getting up,
Care specific to her spinal cord injury (manual handling),
Administration of medicines,
Support in the home, light household tasks (cooking meals, laundry, tidying, cleaning)
Support for social events.
The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check paid for by the employer.
COVID-19 considerations:
PPE provided as required. Surfaces are regularly sanitised.
