About Us - Passion for Support are recruiting Female Personal Care Assistants who live in and around CALDERDALE to visit customers in their own home. Work is available immediately for NVQ2 qualified carers (or we can fund training for those without care qualifications). CURRENTLY UNABLE TO OFFER FULL SPONSORSHIP

Your visits will take place throughout Calderdale supporting older adults to lead an independent life in their own homes and communities. You'll have a varied rota which can include care, companionship, personal care, meal preparation, cleaning and tidying, supervising medications, support to attend appointments, shopping or social outings. Our visits normally last a minimum of one hour so you'll have sufficient time to make a real, positive impact on the lives of the people you're supporting.

For this rewarding role you'll need to be patient, caring and reliable and have a desire to help others. You must live in the Calderdale area, drive and have your own car. You'll also be required to agree to having an enhanced DBS check and provide two references.

Part Time - Morning's

The working hours are 7.30am till 12.00pm Alternate Weekends working either 7.30am till 12.00pm, 12.00pm till 5.00pm or 5.00pm till 10.00pm Saturday and Sunday

Part Time - Afternoon's

The working hours are 12.00pm till 5.00pm Alternate Weekends working either 7.30am till 12.00pm, 12.00pm till 5.00pm or 5.00pm till 10.00pm Saturday and Sunday

Part time - Evening's

The working hours are 5.00pm till 10.00pm Alternate Weekends working either 7.30am till 12.00pm, 12.00pm till 5.00pm or 5.00pm till 10.00pm Saturday and Sunday
We offer a competitive hourly rate of pay with higher rates for working weekends and bank holidays, paid travel time between visits, mileage, holiday pay and company pension.

Our pay rates

Hourly rate

Carer (Non-Qualified)

Weekday - 12.50 per hour

Weekend - 15.00 per hour

Standard bank holiday - 19.00 per hour

Christmas, Boxing Day & New Years' day - 28.00 per hour

Personal Assistant (Qualified NVQ2 Health & Social Care)

Weekday - 13.50 per hour

Weekend - 16.00 per hour

Standard bank holiday - 20.00 per hour

Christmas, Boxing Day & New Years' day 29.50 per hour

Travel time

- Between visits, is paid at your hourly rate.

Mileage

- Between customer visits, or when taking customers out, mileage is paid at 45p per mile.

Holiday Pay

- For every 100 hours you work you'll accrue 12.07 hours of holiday time.

Pension

-You will be automatically enrolled in our pension scheme you'll contribute 5% and Passion for Support will add an additional 3%.
