About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Female Physical Education (PE) Teacher to primarily teach and inspire girl's curriculum and teams. This is a crucial role focused on promoting participation, excellence, and confidence in physical activity across all age groups.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inclusive and engaging practical and theoretical PE lessons primarily for female students across all key stages.
  • Coach and manage girls' school teams in relevant sports (e.g., netball, hockey, rounders, athletics, football, etc.) during practices and competitive fixtures.
  • Act as a key mentor and role model for female students, promoting body positivity, resilience, and active lifestyles.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student performance and progress, ensuring clear targets are set for both skill development and participation.
  • Contribute actively to the organisation and running of school sports days, fixtures, and departmental events.
  • Develop and adapt the curriculum to maximise engagement and cater to the specific needs and interests of female students.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety and sportsmanship during all activities.
What We're Looking For:
  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field, and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven successful experience teaching PE at the secondary school level, with a focus on girls' sport.
  • Strong practical expertise and the ability to coach multiple girls' team and individual sports effectively.
  • The ability to inspire confidence and foster participation among female students of all abilities.
  • A strong commitment to promoting lifelong physical and mental well-being.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive willingness to dedicate time to the extensive extracurricular sports programme, including after-school practices and potential weekend fixtures.
