About the Role:
We are looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced female
career who speaks Punjabi
to support an individual in their home. The role includespersonal care
,companionship
, and help withday-to-day household chores
, such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.This is an ideal role for someone who is compassionate, respectful of cultural needs, and enjoys helping others live independently and comfortably.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing personal care and assistance with daily routines Offering companionship and emotional support Helping with household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and tidying Preparing traditional or preferred meals (Punjabi cooking a bonus) Assisting with medication reminders and appointments (if needed) Communicating effectively with the client and family in Punjabi and English
Requirements:
Fluency in Punjabi (spoken); basic English understanding Previous experience in a care role (formal or informal) is preferred Trustworthy, patient, and respectful of privacy Right to work in the UK DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) References available on request
