We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. A strong focus on conflict management and loss prevention is essential in ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as necessary. Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems, ensuring all activities are recorded accurately. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or any unusual occurrences for further investigation. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure compliance with security protocols. Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals in emergency situations. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.

Skills

Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation. Ability to manage conflicts effectively, demonstrating excellent conflict management skills. Familiarity with first aid and CPR procedures; certification is a plus. Military background is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with individuals at all levels. Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions in emergency situations.
