Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties

Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social outings. Support individuals with dementia care, employing patience and understanding in all interactions. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Skills

Previous experience in nursing or patient care is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response techniques. Familiarity with dementia care practices is an advantage. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with clients and their families. Experience in assisted living IT/Computer skills to create reports on computer
