We are looking for a kind, enthusiastic, and reliable support worker to join a small care team in Worsley. Our client has a great sense of humour, love getting out and about, and enjoy spending time with her family, carers, and her little dog!
Our client experienced a severe brain injury and now uses a wheelchair. She needs full support with her daily routines, personal care, and therapy sessions. She loves going out for lunch, trying new activities, and going on mini breaks - and she would like for you to come along too!
You'll be working closely with her family and Case Manager to make sure she gets the best care possible. If you're someone who enjoys making a difference and bringing positive energy to each day, we would welcome your application.
What we are looking For:
Essential:
Previous care experience
Desirable:
Experience supporting adults with physical disabilities, an interest in therapy, and a willingness to try new things
Driver:
Desirable but not essential
Vehicle Use:
May involve driving a wheelchair-adapted vehicle or occasionally using your own car

About You
It would be great to receive your application, if you have the following skills/behaviours:
Female due to providing personal care
Must be able to work with specialist equipment (training will be provided). A Handling Management Plan is available and is designed to reduce the risk of handling injuries, but you may be required to bend, kneel, squat, push or pull.
Experience supporting adults with physical disabilities.
Confident and comfortable working in our client's own home and sensitive to the needs and wishes of her and her family
Can demonstrate commitment and passion for meeting our client's needs
Can demonstrate empathy and understanding in an appropriate and professional manner

About Us
ILS Case Management is the UK's leading independent nationwide Case Management company.
When a person's life has been changed by injury, we address the practicalities. We work with children and adults who have had moderate or catastrophic, complex injuries. We assess individual needs and are able to provide a comprehensive Case Management designed to maximise independence. We are CQC registered and compliant with their standards.
Our Case Managers work closely with our Clients, and we carry out all the recruitment processes on behalf of our Clients; and will support you, from your initial telephone interview right through to arranging employer interviews, trial shifts and placement.
If you are successfully recruited, you will be employed directly by our client or their Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection. However, ILS will manage your day-to-day employment, providing you with the support you need to carry out your role. Working as a Carer or Support Worker for an ILS client means that you will have a dedicated Case Manager to oversee your client's care needs.
