Summary

This position is to support a young person in her own home with 24/7 care. This position has full time, part time and bank hours available. Either throughout the day or as waking nights, there will also be sleep ins and on call available. All shifts are available on a regular working pattern.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate support and assistance to the young person in question. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, medication administration, community access and meeting all daily household needs. Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide consistent person centred support. Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the person we support. Participate in training sessions to enhance caregiving skills. Foster a nurturing relationship with the person we support to encourage their independence.

Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living or caregiving roles is desirable not essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driving license is desirable. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the life of the person we support. Level 3 in Adult social care or equivalent ensures the higher rate of pay.
