Job Description

Employed Female Personal Assistant required in the Mullion area. Looking for a dependable and caring person to support with personal care, daily living tasks, and accessing the community. The Lady has a passion for cold water swimming, enjoys being out in the community/nature, so a PA who shares or supports this lifestyle would be ideal.

The right candidate will be reliable, compassionate, and enthusiastic about helping her maintain her independence and enjoy the activities she loves.

Job share available

Full driving License is essential

Must be over 25 years due to car insurance

Area : Mullion, Cornwall

Pay : 20.00 ph

Up to 31 hours per week available, days and times to be agreed. If this position becomes a jobshare, more hours will be available to cover sickness and holiday.

Holiday pay and pension scheme available.

MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE -

DOMESTIC :

- Keeping house clean, tidy and organized

- Laundry

- Shopping

- Meal planning, preparation and batch cooking

- Bed changing

- Assist with gardening

- To assist with making and cancelling of appointments, writing and sending emails/letters and all other general administrative tasks.
- Happy around a friendly dog and to take on walk when needed

PERSONAL :

Some assistance with showering /hair washing and dressing may be required.

Assistance to medical appointments

SOCIAL :

Supporting lady to-

- Social and community events

- Shopping

- Swimming

- Any other reasonable duties that may be required.

Essential :-

-Eligibility to work in the UK

-Competence in day to day running of a family home

-Great Communication Skills

- Reliable and Honest

-To be able to take and follow instructions and confident in asking for help if unsure

-Flexibility & adaptability to adapt to changing demands or unexpected situations
- DBS check, cost met by employer.
- Employment references required.
- Employee must be willing to train for relevant skills where necessary. Cost met by employer.

Desirable-

- Some knowledge of M.E./CFS and Fibromyalgia

- Some experience in a caring role.
