Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to a young lady in a home care environment. The role involves supporting this young lady with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring her safety and well-being. Support Workers experienced in managing Epilepsy is highly desirable. The ideal Support Worker will possess strong caregiving skills, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives.

Duties

Assist client with personal care routines and dressing Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines Manage behaviour effectively Provide companionship and emotional support Monitor health and report any concerns promptly to the named nurse Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress Support with activities of daily living in accordance with personalised care plans

Skills

Prior experience in supporting individuals living in the or own home is advantageous Knowledge of Epilepsy care practices Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards clients of all ages, including young adults. Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Organised with good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
