Permanent Part Time and Bank hours available. Permanent Contract to cover 18.5 hours per week to be worked in accordance with the rota issued in advance. Bank hours available; Mornings, afternoons and evenings on both week days and weekends.
Pay:
14.20 per hour Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm, 15.39 Monday - Friday 8pm - 8am, Weekends and Bank Holidays - there will also be an additional payment for holiday cover
An understanding of cognitive behaviour linked to Cerebral Palsy
Desirable:
Experience working with adults with special needs, severe disabilities, and an interest in therapy

Annie, born in 1989, has a good sense of humour and is very sociable. She loves being busy and is independently minded, she loves to achieve her goals. Annie really likes to go shopping, to the cinema and/or theatre and also boxing with her personal trainer. She enjoys going to work. Her family and care team are very important to her.
Annie has Cerebral Palsy which has mainly affected her mobility, coordination, and dexterity. She also has a visual impairment and cognitive challenges, she walks with the use of a frame and is dependent on a powered wheelchair for independent mobility.
You will be joining a small care team where you will be taking direction from the Case Manager and Team Leader to ensure that Annie receives all the care she needs, she requires assistance with her daily routines and personal care as required. She also requires domestic assistance and help with medication.
You will be expected to provide companionship and may be required to take the client away on holiday. You will also be expected to be able to promote and to enable Annie to pursue social outings and work. This job will suit someone who is calm but very proactive and able to bring lots of enthusiasm to the role.
