Job Summary


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Female Support Workers to provide high-quality care to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. The role involves supporting patients with a variety of needs, including dementia, Alzheimer's, and general senior care. The successful candidate will play a vital part in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of those in their care, ensuring a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. Responsibilities



Deliver personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. Administer medication in accordance with prescribed instructions and organisational policies. Support individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's through behaviour management strategies and specialised care techniques. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary. Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental wellbeing. Support patients with mobility, including heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper techniques to prevent injury. Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed, maintaining safe driving practices. Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly. Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. shifts patterns will be 6:15am-2:30pm and 4:30pm-10:30pm.

Qualifications



Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable. Knowledge of patient care practices related to dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, or senior care is advantageous. Certification in first aid is preferred; willingness to undertake training if not already qualified. Valid driving licence is beneficial for roles involving transportation duties. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively manage behaviour in challenging situations. Organised with strong attention to detail in documentation and medication administration. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others. Pay: From 13.00 per hour
