Quarriers Renfrewshire Supported Living Initiative supports adults who have a physical disability, learning disability or acquired brain injury to live at home and be a part of their local community.

Your new opportunity

Our service supports adults within the community to reach their full potential and achieve personalised outcomes tailored to their wants and needs.


We currently have

three part-time Support Worker positions

available. As a

Support Worker

, you will provide support to adults within their own homes, in homes they live in with family, and out and about within the local community enjoying local activities. Your duties will be varied, and no two days will be the same, allowing you the opportunity to learn and develop while supporting people to live fuller, happier lives.

Working pattern:

We are offering

three part-time positions

with

varying hours and flexible shift patterns

. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional sleepovers.

Please note:

This is a

female-only role

. The requirement for a female Support Worker is an

Occupational Requirement

in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the

Equality Act 2010

What you'll bring

Ability to build long-lasting trusting relationships. Compassion and kindness to support people in their day-to-day lives. Enthusiasm and self-motivation. Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and a drive for positive outcomes. Resilience, reliability, and excellent listening skills. Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written English. A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
