Female Support Worker




Location:

Wem, Shropshire

Pay rate:

Sleep in 9.50, Day rate 13.50 & Waking night rate 14.53 per hour (Weekly or Monthly pay)

Shift Pattern:

8:00am - 8:00pm and 8:00pm - 8:00am.

Support Worker

to work with an individual living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), complex care needs, and mental health challenges, supporting them in their own home.


This isn't just about completing tasks — it's about truly understanding the person you support. We're looking for someone who is patient, attentive, and appreciates that every small step forward is a meaningful achievement.


What We're Looking For


Essential Requirements:




A

full manual driving licence

- you'll be driving an adapted mobility vehicle Confidence supporting someone with

mental health needs

, a

PEG feed

, and who uses a

wheelchair

The ability to support someone whose communication varies — listening beyond words A calm, genuine presence with a great sense of humour and deep respect for others

Your Role


As a Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred care on a

1:1 and 2:1 basis

. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


Delivering compassionate, attentive care tailored to individual needs Supporting meaningful activities and encouraging engagement in the community Promoting social interaction and overall well-being Helping with household tasks to maintain a clean, comfortable, and organised home Communicating clearly and confidently in the person's preferred manner to build trust and connection
