As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their homes. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that care plans are followed and that each individual receives personalised attention.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with his care needs during the night, including personal care, and medication management. Monitor client breathing and record any concerns to the care manager Support client in maintaining his independence while providing companionship and emotional support. Implement and follow care plans tailored to client's specific needs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with client, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in his medical condition.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Experience or knowledge of working in clients home care is highly desirable. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
