Part-time, flexible (school hours and/or 3-6 PM shifts, approx. 4 hrs per shift)

Pay:

20 per hour

About the Role:

Anima Youth is looking for a confident and responsible

female youth worker and van driver

to support our new Safe Space on Wheels project -- a mobile therapeutic van providing a safe, trauma-informed environment for girls and young women across South London.

You will be responsible for driving our Mercedes Sprinter van safely to and from community locations, schools, and town centres, working alongside a Senior Girls & Young Women's Worker who will lead 1:1 sessions with participants inside the van, you will support with general engagement and outreach support but progress and develop into leading sessions.

We are happy to recruit

two part-time staff

one covering daytime school hours and another covering

after-school hours (3-7PM)

Requirements:

Clean UK driving licence and confidence driving large vehicles (e.g. Mercedes Sprinter) Experience working with children and young people (youth work, mentoring, or outreach) A caring, professional, and trauma-informed approach Flexibility and reliability Female applicants only (due to the gender-specific nature of our service)

Training Provided:

All relevant training will be provided, including

Safeguarding, CSE Awareness, Trauma-Informed Practice, and Youth Mental Health First Aid

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week
