Fencer Landscaper Position Available!

We are a rapidly expanding family-run business which includes a large outdoor Adventure Park, Gastro Pub and Activity & Events Centre. With over 50 acres of private estate to look after, we would like to add to our small maintenance team ensuring our buildings and grounds are maintained to look their best throughout the year

Reporting to:

Maintenance Manager

Role Responsibilities:

Supporting the Maintenance Manager across the whole estate as required. Dealing with any maintenance issues in the Gastro Pub, Adventure Park, Activity Centre and private houses and gardens on the estate. Building Theatre sets for large events such as Christmas, Halloween and Easter and setting up for other events throughout the year. Post and Rail fencing and Post and wire fencing Mowing lawns and spraying weeds Strimming and hedge trimming General labouring tasks as required Driving machinery and operating hand tools
Please be advised this is both an indoor and outdoor role and you will be expected to work in all weathers.

Experience Required:

Fencing or Joinery Experience Experience of using lawn mowers (both push and ride on) Use of strimmer, hedge trimmers, tractors and trailers etc. Time served / practical skills in the building trade, fencing, hard landscaping, Trees surgery etc Full Driving license
The following qualifications would be ideal however we would support training in each of these areas for the right candidate: Yard Forklift / All terrain Forklift licence, Spraying licence, Chainsaw Licence

Hours: 8am - 4.45, Monday - Sunday (Mainly Monday to Friday but very occasionally you may be required to work at the weekend or start early / late by prior agreement)

This is a 5 month contract which may be extended or become a full time position for the right person.

Salary

30,000 per year
