We are seeking a skilled Fencer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and fabrication techniques, with the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow specifications accurately while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Duties
Install and repair fencing structures using various materials, including wood, metal, and vinyl.
Fabricate fencing components as per project specifications.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate fencing solutions based on terrain and customer requirements.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.
Perform maintenance tasks such as painting or staining fences as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in the field
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Familiarity with paving, garden work and turfing would be preferrable but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent physical stamina, as the role may require lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
A valid driver's licence is transportation to job sites. Van will be provided.
