Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fencer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and experience, enabling them to contribute effectively to various fencing projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Construct and install various types of fencing, including wooden, vinyl, and metal. Measure and mark fence lines accurately to ensure proper alignment and spacing. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards. Perform maintenance and repairs on existing fencing structures as needed. Assist in the fabrication of custom fencing solutions based on client specifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices on all job sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry and construction work is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to fencing installation. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during projects. Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required. A valid driver's licence is preferred for transportation to various job sites. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
