Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fencer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and experience, enabling them to effectively contribute to various fencing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of different materials and techniques used in fencing, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair various types of fencing, including wooden, metal, and vinyl options. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete fencing projects. Collaborate with clients to understand their fencing needs and provide expert recommendations. Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of each project. Perform additional construction tasks as needed, which may include carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical work. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on-site. Assist in the fabrication of custom fencing solutions tailored to specific client requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fencing or related fields such as carpentry or construction. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in fencing installation. Knowledge of additional skills such as roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical experience is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings or plans accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. A valid driver's licence is preferred for transportation to job sites.
