Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, enabling them to contribute effectively to various construction and maintenance projects. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble structures using hand tools and power tools. Perform basic electrical tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Assist in masonry work, including laying bricks and blocks as required. Carry out painting tasks to maintain and enhance the appearance of buildings. Support roofing activities, including installation and repairs. Execute plumbing tasks under supervision, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of systems. Engage in welding activities when necessary, demonstrating proficiency with welding equipment. Collaborate with carpenters to assist in constructing frameworks and structures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous. Familiarity with masonry techniques is desirable. Experience in painting, roofing, plumbing, or welding will be beneficial. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. A commitment to adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Pay: 13.25-15.42 per hour
