Fertility Nurse / Fertility Midwife

LOCATION

: Concept Fertility, London.

This is a clinical role which must be undertaken on-site (no remote working).

Concept Fertility Clinic is a fully comprehensive fertility service based in Putney, south west London. We pride ourselves on offering a bespoke service to patients who are seeking fertility treatment or testing and our priority as a team is always to provide the best possible service to our patients.

This is a very special journey to be part of and we are seeking an individual to become a Fertility Nurse as part of our Nursing Team.

LINE RELATIONSHIP

REPORTING TO: Lead Nurse & Nurse Manager

About the Role

As a Fertility Nurse, you will provide expert clinical and emotional support to individuals and couples undergoing private fertility treatment. You'll play an active role in guiding patients through each step of their journey, ensuring they feel informed, empowered, and cared for.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting nurse-led treatment talks and consultations (e.g. medication teaching, consent discussions, treatment planning) Administering medications, injections, and treatments in line with clinic protocols Supporting consultants in theatre during procedures such as egg collection, embryo transfer, and IUI Phlebotomy and result interpretation Chaperoning ultrasound scans and procedures for both consultants and sonographers where required Dispensing and ordering medications Managing patient care in recovery after sedated cases Coordinating patient treatment cycles, ensuring timely communication and support Providing compassionate emotional care to patients at every stage Participating in a 1-in-5 weekend on-call rota to support urgent patient needs (with appropriate compensation/time off in lieu) Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with

HFEA

and

CQC

regulations Contributing to audits, staff training, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

NMC Registered Nurse or Midwife (essential) Minimum of two years fertility, maternity or Gynaecology experience Experience in fertility, gynaecology, or women's health (preferred, but full training provided) Warm, approachable, and professional manner with excellent communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced private clinic environment High attention to detail and strong organisational skills A flexible, can-do attitude, including participation in weekend on-call rota Passion for fertility nursing and patient-centred care

Job Type: Full-time - 37.5 hrs per week. Occasional Saturday and Bank Holiday working required.
