Responsibilities:

As a Fertility Nurse, your role involves delivering essential information and guidance on various treatments to our patients, while also offering them invaluable emotional support. You will be responsible for organizing treatment cycle plans, empowering patients to self-administer fertility drugs through coaching, and providing comprehensive care for patients both before and after procedures, as well as within the clinic setting.

You will lead scan lists which include baseline scans, follicular tracking and pregnancy scans and then plan the appropriate care following the scan. You will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. Prescribing is desirable for you to plan and prescribe relevant medication throughout the fertility pathway. Performing intra uterine inseminations is essential Performing embryo transfers is desirable Performing venepuncture, interpreting and giving blood results. Assist in theatre procedures, including egg collections, embryo transfers and IUIs Preparation of theatre and maintaining stock levels, ordering consumables.
