We are the OG's of elevated fried chicken in London serving up some serious crispy & tasty fried chicken creations with SE Asian-inspired flavours since 2015. We have an independent spirit and a welcoming, inclusive culture. Our people are appreciated for who they are and we treat everyone with kindness & respect. Post Covid we decided to take Chick 'n' Sours on the road. It's been a great success and we haven't looked back. We now have a wicked food truck, four other 'gazebo' setups and a shipping container at RoofEast, a rooftop venue on top of a car park in Stratford.

We are recruiting for Event Supervisors and Managers to run our events and bring the vibe to some of the UK's most high-profile music events & festivals. Some of our previous events include seeing some of the world's biggest DJs & music artists at BST in Hyde Park, Lost Village Festival, Big Feastival, Krankbrothers, Tramlines, Gala, Goodwood Festival of Speed, and All Points East to name just a few. We are also at top sporting events like Spurs, Chelsea and Harlequin games, Henley Regatta & F1 Silverstone.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations on-site, including

client liaison

,

food production

,

preparation

,

staff management

, and

customer service

. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, impeccable interpersonal skills, and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality.

We are currently growing our evergreen talent pool of Supervisors and Managers. We may have some work available through the winter and spring months; however, in our summer months you can look forward to working back-to-back festivals, it can be hard work and sleeping in a tent isn't for everyone, but for the right person, this role will be incredibly fun, fulfilling, tasty & exciting. Not to mention you'll be earning some decent money.

Your duties would include:

Leadership & Team Management: Motivate and oversee a team, ensuring high energy, professionalism, teamwork, and efficient high-quality service. Training & Development: Provide on-the-job coaching, ensuring staff understand their roles and responsibilities. Customer Service: Engage with customers, professionally resolve issues quickly, and ensure a friendly, positive and outstanding guest experience while upholding Chick 'n' Sours' values. Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution: Handle operational challenges and staff issues calmly and effectively. Attention to Detail & Stock Management: Monitor inventory, food presentation, and portion control. Food Production & Execution: Oversee food preparation, maintaining high quality and efficiency. Flexibility & Time Management: Adapt to shifting demands, balance multiple priorities, and keep service running smoothly. Sales & Business-Minded Approach: Identify opportunities to maximise revenue. Liaise and maintain strong client relationships, exceeding their expectations at all times. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members follow hygiene, food handling, and event safety regulations. Maintaining a Clean Work Environment: Enforce cleanliness, hygiene, and proper station setup throughout shifts.

The role would suit someone who

Holds proven experience in hospitality, food service, or events. Is familiar with kitchen operations and equipment and has a strong knowledge of food production techniques. Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a high-pressure environment. Has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues on all levels in accordance with our values. Comfortable working long shifts outdoors in dynamic event environments with a positive, can-do attitude. Has the ability to handle pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations. Has strong initiative and problem-solving skills, ensuring smooth service flow. A keen focus on efficiency, organisation, and keeping standards high. Loves being customer-facing, working with people, delivering exceptional customer experiences and being able to de-escalate conflicts when necessary. Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and stock rotation practices. Enjoys music & festival culture - but respects the boundaries between working at a festival and being a guest at a festival ;) May be looking for a future role in the industry with genuine growth opportunities.
