SCCI Alphatrack are currently deploying full Fibre solutions for Virgin Media, City Fibre and toob, aiding these businesses in supporting the Government's next steps in its 5 billion strategy to deliver next generation, gigabit-capable broadband to the entire country.
The Role:
We're seeking an experienced
Fibre
Supervisor
to lead and support field-based installation teams across our operational areas. This role is vital in ensuring high-quality Fibre installations, on-site health and safety, and excellent customer service.
You'll be the go-to person for supervising installations, managing field contractors, performing audits, resolving issues, and ensuring everything is delivered to high standards and within SLA.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor Fibre installation teams and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Conduct regular site audits and toolbox talks.
Manage customer and client complaints, finding effective resolutions.
Provide on-site technical support and guidance to contractors.
Carry out live premise installation audits
Oversee inventory and vehicle stock control.
Attend client calls and maintain strong communication and reporting.
Step in to support field delivery where required -- including pole climbing and fibre installation.
What We're Looking For:
Hands-on experience in Fibre and supervision.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations (HSEQ, SA001, S008, IPAF, NRWSA).
Valid UK driving licence.
Ability to motivate and lead field teams to high-performance standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
Clear DBS certificate.
Proven track record of working in a field-based, Fibre installation environment.
Experience handling client expectations and achieving KPIs/SLA compliance.
Able to deliver technical training and support to engineers and contractors.
